1. Good elasticity

2. Good corrosion resistance

Polyester fabrics are resistant to bleaches, oxidants, hydrocarbons, ketones, petroleum products and inorganic acids. Dilute alkali resistance, not afraid of mildew, but hot alkali can make it decompose. There is also strong resistance to acid and alkali, and anti-ultraviolet rays. Therefore, the finished luggage and bags made of polyester fabrics have better corrosion resistance.

3. Good light resistance

Lightfastness is second only to acrylic. The light fastness of polyester fabric is better than that of acrylic fiber, and its light fastness is better than that of natural fiber fabric. Especially the light fastness behind the glass is very good, almost on par with acrylic.

4. Poor dyeability

Although polyester fabric has poor dyeability, it has good color fastness and is not easy to fade. Once dyed successfully, the color will not fade easily.

5. Poor hygroscopicity

The hygroscopicity of polyester is weaker than that of nylon, so its air permeability is not as good as that of nylon, but polyester is very easy to dry after washing, and the fabric strength hardly decreases, so it is not easy to deform. The luggage products produced are generally not deformed due to washing.

6. Good thermoplasticity and poor melting resistance

Due to the smooth surface of polyester and the close arrangement of internal molecules, polyester is the fabric with the best heat resistance among synthetic fiber fabrics, and it has thermoplastic properties. Therefore, try to avoid contact with cigarette butts, sparks, etc. when wearing.

7. Good wear resistance

Luggage products made of polyester material have good wear resistance and scratch resistance. Under normal use, they can be used for a long time without deformation, fading and damage. Polyester fabrics have different specifications and grades, such as 75D, 150D, 300D, 600D, 1200D and 1800D are polyester, and the outer surface of the fabric is darker and rougher than nylon. D is the abbreviation of DENIER (denier), the greater the number of D, the greater the density of the material, the thicker the quality, and the better the wear resistance.
