When using dry bags, the number one priority is to close them tightly in order to keep water out. An incorrect sealed dry bag will not keep dry all the time. Let's take a 10Liter nylon dry bag for example. First, you need to put your gears into the dry bag; then it's better to squeeze the air out in order to save space of your luggage. After putting your gears into the bag you can push and squeeze the dry bag. Then, grab the top to roll down at least 3 times; during rolling down the top you have to keep the air out; unpack the opening to leak the air as soon as you find there is too much air in the dry bag; after leaking air repeat to roll down the opening for 3-5 times; finally click the buckle into place.
